We also appreciate that even though we all love Ballot-Flurin products and have to wait for them to be produced in France, we know they are based on a small family business with an emphasis on not exploiting the pollinating helpers.

They are driven by absolute love for bees, ensuring they have the best possible living conditions and care. Not only within the company itself but also among friendly beekeepers who supply local honeys from exceptional areas simply not found anywhere else except in special locations (such as Crete, Sicily, or Andalusia).

We are glad that absolutely everyone can find something in their range, whether you prefer cosmetic products with bee treasures or focus more on dietary supplements. We try everything we can get our hands on, but there is a lot, so, to our great sadness, we have to approach it gradually. Even if we wanted to dive into exploring with all the available enthusiasm, it simply isn't possible. Testing Ballot-Flurin is not our only responsibility.

Absolutely Reliable Helpers with Black Propolis

So here is our favourite menu (currently favourite), but not yet final. All mentioned products have been tested and approved within a general consensus as essential, effective, and absolutely addictive. The insights we have carefully gathered are more than pleasing. More heads mean more knowledge, and more experience improves decision-making during illness or when dealing with dry skin.

• Propolis extract spray was tested for sore throats and the illness whose name must not be spoken. In both cases, success was recorded without the need for antibiotics.
• Ballot-Flurin Pyrenean balm is an absolute treasure. It was tested on eczema-prone skin alongside a repair cream with very good results. Initially, it smells herbal, like lavender, but after massaging in, only the beautiful, clean scent of propolis and honey remains. Another great thing about it is that you can use it on a newly sprouting blemish, lips, dry elbows, hands, cracked feet, and when you have a cold, simply apply it under the nose to prevent soreness from constant nose blowing. Combined with the Pyrenean nasal spray, it is ideal for managing colds. It also works perfectly when coughing – just apply it to the chest and back three times a day.
• Pyrenean propolis nasal spray is now an indispensable part of our home first aid kits because it simply works and you don’t have to worry about burning your mucous membranes. It is alcohol-free, with a very uncomplicated but effective composition. It consists of an aqueous extract of white propolis, thyme Provençal extract, blackberry extract, and Salies du Bearn salt. It is ideal for shortening the duration of a runny nose. Using it at the start of a cold, when you know someone in your family is coming down with something, can quite effectively shorten the suffering with tissues. In one of our cases, someone suffering from long-lasting, even fourteen-day colds experienced a pleasant reduction in the duration of the runny nose to a regular 3-4 days. Of course, this is quite individual and depends on overall immunity and other factors.
• Protective hand cream with honey and propolis is the star of our cosmetic bags. No joking. The great thing about it is that it does not leave a greasy feeling yet absolutely nourishes dry or very stressed hands, making it suitable for everyone. Whether you work in the garden, clean, or simply need to support softness and suppleness. It heals small cuts nicely in those who suffer from eczema. In such cases, it is advisable to use the cream in combination with the Pyrenean protective balm, ideally at night and under cotton cosmetic gloves. This allows the skin time to regenerate without daily stress.
