Armina Bio is a Bulgarian company that ensures you have essential and plant oils of the highest possible quality. Pine essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of Pinus sylvestris needles. It has a typical, forest, coniferous scent with a subtly spicy balsamic aftertaste. It is one of those essential oils primarily used as a tonic for the nervous system, to support blood circulation, and as a means of pain reduction.
It acts as an expectorant and mucolytic, meaning it clears airways and supports successful coughing. It contains alpha-pinene, a molecule that stimulates mucin glands, making it effective in thinning mucus. It acts as a respiratory antiseptic. It increases blood pressure. It has anti-inflammatory properties, and in homemade cosmetics, it is used as one of the oils to support blood circulation in the case of varicose veins or hemorrhoids. It helps with mental fatigue.

Appearance and Colour: Light to dark yellow, transparent liquid.
Scent: Forest, balsamic, fresh.
Not suitable for: Pregnant and breastfeeding women, children under six years of age (as a precautionary measure, as it is similar to the hormone cortisol, it is sometimes recommended to wait even longer). Asthmatics and epileptics should be cautious and consult their treating physician regarding its use due to possible interactions with medication, as should people with kidney problems. Do not use for longer than ten days (in mild dilution). May irritate the skin and cause an allergic reaction. In high doses, it can be toxic to the kidneys. Always dilute in a carrier oil if you want to apply it to the skin. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY.
